The Life After Prison (LAP) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization founded with the aim of supporting and empowering those impacted by incarceration.
We help our members develop a successful blueprint for themselves through mentorship, our programs, workshops and events.

Mr. Curry is a former prisoner turned entrepreneur and author. After facing severe sentencing enhancements as a career criminal, he served 12 years in federal prison. During his incarceration, he committed to personal growth and discovered writing as a means of coping and self-improvement. Released under the "First Step Act," Mr. Curry graduated from "Project Entrepreneur" at Boston College, a program designed for formerly incarcerated individuals. He co-founded The Life After Prison organization and authored the "3 Pounds of Pressure" book series, drawing from his experiences to advocate for criminal justice reform and support others in their reentry journey.
Mysonne Linen, known professionally as Mysonne, is an American rapper, activist, and social justice advocate from the Bronx, New York. Rising to fame in the hip-hop scene, Mysonne has seamlessly blended his musical talents with his passion for community empowerment and social change.
As the co-founder of Until Freedom (https://untilfreedom.com/) , Mysonne plays a pivotal role in addressing systemic and racial injustice. Until Freedom is an intersectional social justice organization that believes in empowering those most affected by cyclical poverty, inequality, and state violence.
Mysonne's work spans from creating powerful, socially conscious music to organizing grassroots movements and speaking out against injustice. His unique blend of artistry and activism has made him a respected voice in both the entertainment industry and the fight for social equality.
